The Growth Of Graffiti

It does not matter what type of art whether it is graffiti, painting, music, and film. It was most likely made how the artist wanted, having a meaning that only they know unless they feel free on sharing the meaning with the public. When looking at an art piece, at first you look at it like its a strange object but the longer you look at the piece the more thoughts that go through your head but no matter how hard you try you can not figure out the artist emotion, thought, or motive about their piece unless stated by the artist. A great example is graffiti, most people say its just vandalism, random words and abstract pieces, but that is not entirely true. Graffiti is not always on the side of building and trucks it has evolved to canvases, skateboards, paint jobs for cars, and people are even paining artist to paint their store fronts to attract customers.

Even though graffiti is becoming more acceptable in today world it is still seen an vandalism and childish even if it is done legally, on canvas, or done on the artist personal property.

The Lion King Remake???

Walt Disney's Remake of the 1994 animated movie follows the adventures of the young lion Simba (Jonathan Taylor Thomas), the heir of his father, Mufasa (James Earl Jones). Simba's wicked uncle, Scar (Jeremy Irons), plots to usurp Mufasa's throne by luring father and son into a stampede of wildebeests. But Simba escapes, and only Mufasa is killed. Simba returns as an adult (Matthew Broderick) to take back his homeland from Scar with the help of his friends Timon (Nathan Lane) and Pumbaa (Ernie Sabella). In the 2019 Remake of the movie it portrays a more realistic view on the sad Simba who idolizes his father, King Mufasa, and takes to heart his own royal destiny on the plains of Africa. But not everyone in the kingdom celebrates the new cub's arrival. Scar, Mufasa's brother -- and former heir to the throne -- has plans of his own. The battle for Pride Rock is soon ravaged with betrayal, tragedy and drama, ultimately resulting in Simba's exile. Now, with help from a curious pair of newfound friends, Simba must figure out how to grow up and take back what is rightfully his.

As you can see the 1994 original is on the left and the 2019 remake is on the right.

Now many people may argue on whether the lion king should not be remade so it may maintain its nostalgic feel. But a remake may do this film some good it has obtain a lot of hype and the newer generations will get to see and truly amazing film in there own viewing styles of liking.

 When a magazine or news paper talks about controversy in art they usually refer to something sexually explicit or deviant. For example the famous celebrities such as Cardi B, Janel Monae, and Zendaya went to the met gala awards and their attire was based on a theme. Zendaya was Cinderella, Cardi b was the red queen, but Janel Monae was a little different from others. Her dress had a face with a blinking eye she expresses her self through what she wear. The concept of the met gala awards is that every year they have a new them.
